The story behind the compass.
A Certified Gluten-Free Practitioner on a mission to help families eat well — because going gluten-free isn't automatically healthier; the quality of what replaces it is what matters.
Where the compass came from.
Gluten Freedom Compass started as a bakehouse — a practical response to a real problem. When people living with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity in Nairobi asked where they could find safe, delicious treats, the answer was: nowhere nearby. So I baked them.
As a Certified Gluten-Free Practitioner, I quickly realised the need went deeper than cake. Families needed practical, culturally grounded guidance on how to live safely without gluten — not just avoid it.
That realisation grew into the Wellness Hub — a two-part food-freedom protocol built around the ingredients easily found in African kitchens, alongside a companion platform where members track their day, journal symptoms, and access daily gluten-free tips and 1:1 consultations.
Today, Gluten Freedom Compass is both a wellness platform and a bakehouse — two different ways of serving the same person on the same journey.
